Let me introduce myself...
I am a balloonist, face painter and comedy magicienne. I love to bring out the smiles within everyone.
The irony is my biggest fear as a child was indeed of clowns. I used to hide on Halloween night, and would never go out trick or treating. One Halloween while I was in high school, I decided to overcome this fear by facing it. I did, and ended up breaking out in hives that very Halloween night by answering the door!
I can’t express the joy I feel when I take a long balloon, twist and turn it and make a little one’s wish come to life. I delight in seeing their ear to ear smiles with their eyes gleaming with excitement as they hold their creation. This is an awesome feeling for me.
As a face painter, on a moving canvas, I am quite the artist! I enjoy having a child tell me what they want me to create and slowly by dotting and dragging with my brush or sponge the character magically appears for them.
After I finish, I hand them the mirror and each child has a smile that could light up a Fourth of July sky! This is why I love to clown around, because it brings out the child within each of us.
